Back in November I moved Dotty Pigeon in to a space at Northcote Road Antiques Market. Established over 20 years ago, it is one of the few indoor Antiques Emporia in London still going strong. This Clapham shopping destination is home to over twenty five traders all with a distinct style & stock that changes daily. It’s an Aladdin’s Cave of a place & to describe its contents as eclectic would be an understatement! I’ve only been at Northcote for a few months but I’ve already fallen in love with the place – it’s unbelievably unique & full of character. It’s extra special to me because my mum started her career in antiques here at Northcote when she was my age. In fact, she had exactly the same spot that Dotty P now nests in - the first you come across on the mezzanine balcony. A spooky but heart-warming coincidence. So over the next few months I’ll be introducing you to the market, its stallholders & a selection of the antique & vintage items that can be found in store. I’m looking forward to getting you acquainted. Posted on 3:19pm Tuesday 13th Nov 2012 I've been slack, I know. But in my defence Dotty Pigeon has been moving. I'll be writing a new post really really soon. But until then, a few bits & pieces to look at... Autumn arrived on our doorstep
Dotty P moved to Northcote Road Antiques Market
Where there are just a few lamps for sale! (The green one's my favourite)
I found these beauties
And painted some chairs
Bought a vintage jumper from CHA CHA CHA Vintage
And made some greeting cards
See, I have been busy!
